FIND OUT ABOUT THE MAGIC OF MAJOLICA

DO YOU KNOW WHAT MAJOLICA IS?

Majolica is the name given to Lead glazed, brightly coloured, relief moulded earthenware.

It was invented by Leon Arnoux for MINTONS and was first exhibited at the Great Exhibition of 1851.

Other manufacturers initially imitated the Minton styles, but soon they invented hundreds of fresh, exciting colours and designs...

FIELDINGS MAJOLICA
There were many British, American and Continental manufacturers, but the leading British Companies were Mintons, George Jones, Worcester, Holdcroft, Wedgewood, Shorter and FIELDINGS...

The pictures you see on this page are all of Fieldings Majolica. They made a wide range of goods in many different designs, from the 1870's until the early 20th century.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FIELDINGS MAJOLICA ???
